My name is Hossein Koozehgar and this is my personal website.
With over 15 years of experience as a senior software engineer, I have extensive expertise in PHP and have worked with frameworks such as Zend, Phalcon, and Laravel. My experience includes developing content management systems and creating various modules, as well as working in cloud computing and in-app purchases and subscription management. Additionally, I am continuously expanding my skill set and have started learning Go lang. I am well-versed in SOLID principles, OOP, Clean Code practices, TDD, and design patterns, which have all contributed to my success in backend development.
InstaFreight was a leading digital transport company for road freight in Europe offering a digital B2B transportation service. My rule as a member of the team working on the Admin panel was to maintain and improve this part of the system by adding new API endpoints, fixing bugs, and investigating how to improve the functionality of different parts of the application.
Teknasyon is one of the biggest IT companies in Turkey and they develop mobile applications along with some B2B and B2C products. Currently, I am working on their in-app purchase and subscription management system. I refactored the process of validation of mobile purchase receipts and also created a mock data generator for different vendors, in order to make code testable. After that, I wrote feature tests for different API endpoints. In addition, I created a Laravel package in order to improve their logging mechanism. I also documented the existing API using Swagger.
I was working with a gaming company, located in Estonia, as a senior software engineer and designed and developed different APIs which were required by different microservices. Used Technologies: Docker, PHP 7.4, NodeJS, Mysql, Redis, MongoDB, REST API
As a back-end developer I design and develop API for services like Dl-hosting, Cloud Server and Block Based Backup using different programming languages including PHP and Nodejs.
In this position I worked with three teams: front-end developers, back-end developers and support and my main goal was to manage these teams to meet their milestones. Also Training new stuff was my other responsibility.
I was developing different modules for company’s content management system like ACL, Watermark, Membership Management and Media Gallery to meet either customer needs or company’s roadmap
This was where I started my career and learned about web development. After studding HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP, I started to make HTML template for websites, mostly news websites, using HTML4 and CSS2 and making them work with company content management system application
I studied Computing and Information Systems in distance learning program of London University.
